"He's terrible!" "He's horrible!" "And not only that, he isn't even nice"--Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
"Ask a silly question, you get a dumb look"--Pickup on South Street
Dreamed about the movie Kill Bill.
Saw two movies at the Cinematheque.  The first was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a bizarre, whimsical kiddie musical from 1968. (Roald Dahl adapted Ian Fleming's story.) I came to like it more than I expected.  How can you not like a movie with a lady called Truly Scrumptious?
Stayed for Sam Fuller's Pickup on South Street, a solid Cold War film noir.  Richard Widmark was a really cool pickpocket.
Pui and Gordon came over for dinner and brought Chinese food.
