Dreamed of entering a stadium to see an athletic game the movie Rose Marie.
John came over for lunch (pancakes) and stayed for supper (spaghetti). I hope he and Nancy [his ex] come to a settlement soon. He's really frustrated about it. [I think they did.]
Started reading Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. It's a novel that grabs you on the first page. I'm reading an edition we've had since I was a child, with great expressionistic woodcuts by Fritz Eichenberg.
Went to see The Pianist at the Varsity, but it was sold out.
I've been looking at a new big book of puzles we just got.
