"You've changed. You used to be mean; now that you have a couple of bucks, you're mean and stuck-up!"--Ask the Dust

Baked raisin bread.
Went to the library and borrowed The People's Almanac Book of Predictions, published in 1980. I'm interested in reading it again to see if any were right.
Dinner was spaghetti.
Went to the Cinematheque for an interview and Q&A session with the famous screenwriter Robert Towne. Afterward they had a sneak preview of Ask the Dust, the new movie Towne directed from a novel about an aspiring writer in 1930s Los Angeles (filmed in South Africa!). It wasn't bad.
