Dreamed of Al Pacino as a cop, infiltrating a circle of gangsters (including James Coburn as a crazy veteran), being found out through an enema, and causing the gangsters to gradually kill off each other; sorting out a pile of sailboat manuals; one Congu Chan having to sell his antique boat because bureaucratic regulations required him to attach it to mooring posts but he wanted to display it on land.
Dinner was turkey pie. (Moira's vegan chocolate cake turned out well.)
Went to the Cinematheque and saw Sam Peckinpah's war movie Cross of Iron, about German soldiers on the Russian front after the war had turned against them. (The Vietnam parallel was pretty obvious.) James Coburn was a cool actor.
